Weather Station remotely managed by Amazon AWS IOT services.
The IOT (Internet of Things) is gathering of “things” which embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity to communicate with other “things”, to collect and exchange data.
This project aim to build a prototype of a weather station measuring ambient temperature, via a sensor connected to Zynq FPGA. The obtained data is managed by Linux running on embedded ARM processor and finally sent to AWS IOT services for storage and analysis. The station sends the data to the cloud after connecting to the internet.
This prototype can be a basis of a widespread network of weather stations controlled from distance. The accurate and accessible data can be used for weather casting and getting accurate information of every place in the globe instantly in low price.
