Designing a real-time monitoring system that monitors a door and transmits its status wirelessly to a remote user.
The transmission will be operated by a unique low-power micro-controller and by LoRa protocol,
enabling the system to work for a long time using a small battery.
LoRa is a digital wireless data communication technology.
LoRa Technology offers a compelling mix of long range (10-15Km) and low power consumption data transmission.
The project goal is to build a door monitoring system based on the LoRa protocol and on the MSP430FR5969 micro-controller
that has low-power consumption.
The system consists of 2 sub-systems:
1. The sender monitors the status of the door and transmits it to the receiver.
It consists of a low-power micro-controller and a LoRa chip.
2. The receiver, receives the data and displays it to the user.
It consists of an Arduino board connected to a computer and a LoRa chip.
