Dove chaser

Developing an automatic bird repellent system that utilizes AI detection algorithms to identify pigeons, employs motor sensors to position the device, and activates a water jet to deter them.

Doves exhibit a propensity to congregate in specific locations, such as the roof of residential buildings, balconies, and ext., thereby giving rise to issues of sanitation, aesthetics, and noise disturbances. There are diverse solutions which are available in the market to address this phenomenon.
In this work, we propose a device, likened to an ‘Iron Dome’ for doves, involving the establishment of a mechanism designed to repel doves via an automated water jet system. This device shall be strategically positioned in close proximity to the preferred pigeon sites. The identification of doves within the environment will be facilitated by sensors, enabling precise direction of the water sprinkler to deter their presence.
