The goal of this project was to locate a capsule inside a human body, using a set of magnetometer, accelerometer and magnetic field of a coil. This is an algorithm for a system developed by Check-Cap Ltd. For polyps detection in the large intestine.
In this project, we developed a new algorithm which utilizing a set of magnetometer, accelerometer and a magnetic field of a coil in a capsule, alongside a 3D electromagnetic pulse sensor on a reference system on a patient’s back, to determine the orientation of the capsule and its location inside the patient’s body. This capsule is a part of a system developed by Check-Cap Ltd. for detection of possibly cancerous polyps in the large intestine.
