The Magic dreidel is a unique spinning top that allows the user to control its movement direction and rotation. A past hardware groups developed the design for this device.

This project sets on an application, based on local wifi connection. To support and demonstrate the work of other students groups under the same supervision, algorithm group, integration and hardware developing, layout and installation. In terms of the overall project, it contains an android application and Arduino interface program.
The application was developed in JAVA and Android studio environment, and implemented the final result on an android device. The Arduino board was installed on the spinner, to support the application features and other hardware methods. It connects hardware components, set by the hardware groups, to assure the spinner’s movements goals.
The application manages to demonstrate real time measurements in at least 100hz frequency, by depending on threaded software development.
