In our project we deal with the issue of transferring information in 100GB/s rate inside a suitable medium. Due to the high losses, under these conditions, we focus our efforts on a specific branch of the issue: transferring the energy in an electrical form in a short microstrip-line as the medium. For instance to connect two units on the same motherboard that can use such high frequency bit transfer in order to process data very quickly. We approach the matter under discussion from different aspects such as: creating a stable clock in such high frequency, finding the right components in order to, theoretically, build up a prototype schematics of transferring the energy, designing the microstrip-line, testing and characterizing it given the right equipment and additional other points.
